You will usually receive an answer within 2 hours (on weekdays). If it concerns an administrative question, it may take longer.
It is a quick, convenient and secure way to contact your GP practice and get advice, without having to wait on the phone or take time out to come into the practice.
Do not use an e-consultation in an emergency. In case of emergency, please contact the practice by telephone.
Suitable topics/questions for an e-consult are:
- questions about lifestyle
- questions about medications
- questions about examinations and results of examinations
- questions about complaints for which you have previously been to the consultation hour
- questions about chronic diseases, such as high blood pressure, asthma or diabetes
